Does it work in a storage unit with no signal?

Yes. Stash is offline-first — bins, items, Put & Get and label scanning all work without a connection. AI scans queue and run when you're back online, and everything syncs to your other devices and family members.

How accurate is the AI identification?

Very good on everyday objects, and you always review the list before saving — rename, merge, delete, or add anything it missed. Pro's Deep Scan goes item-by-item for specifics like book titles, shoe sizes and serial numbers.

What happens to my photos?

Photos are uploaded to encrypted object storage so they sync across your devices and are sent to an AI provider only to identify the contents. You can delete any photo, bin, or your whole account from inside the app. See the privacy policy for details.

Do family members need to pay?

No. Joining a shared location is free forever — a free account can be a member of any number of locations. Pro is only needed to own more than one location and for unlimited scans, and a Pro subscription is shareable through Apple Family Sharing.

What are the free limits?

10 AI scans a month and one storage location you own. Bins, items, labels, Put & Get and sharing are unlimited on Free. Pro is $1.99 a month.

Is there an Android version?
